Metalskolen Jørlunde is owned by the Danish Metal Workers’ Union and was inaugurated in 1968 as the union’s education centre with 10,000 m2 of buildings surrounded by 23 acres of protected natural land extending down to Buresø lake.
We cherish our history as a union education centre and the political spirit that can still be felt here. That’s why you are encouraged to explore our interesting art collection with a historical “spirit” that tells the story of our traditions of fraternity and trust, human resource development and learning.
You’ll find Danish furniture design and genuine quality craftsmanship with soul. Today, Metalskolen Jørlunde is open for all types of meeting and conferences.
